Since school has started, I can no longer develop the mod at the same pace as before. I put many hours into developing this mod, from reverse engineering the NieR:Automata binary to find out how the game engine works, to coding the actual mod.
This shoes, 9.5 was way too big, it almost seem too tall. I have worn Salomon SLAB sense shoes for many years and 9.5 is spot on for me even with thicker Injinji Ultra socks (perfect combo btw). The shoe feels comfortable but supportive.Ĭomments: Sizing if really off for me on this shoe. August 31st, 2021Ĭomments: The shoes seem a bit snug around the ankle when putting them on but that feeling quickly evaporates once you start your run. Can't wait to see what they do with the next generation!įrom: Steve. This shoe has been a game-changer for saving my feet over long distances. It's fine on wet surfaces or even deep mud at lower pitches. The grip is fantastic, but this is not your shoe mud on steep terrain (think 1,000' vert per mile in the rain). Salomon does state this in the product description. The same has happened with the Ultra 1 and 2 for me. After using it for about 200 miles (1-3 long runs), the Ultra 3 gave me about fifty miles of training before they wore down a bit too much for anything over single digits. This is the ultimate weapon for ultra races and long backcountry missions. when worn with above-the-ankle socks, I've found that I don't benefit from gaiters at all due to the snug upper. It's well-cushioned for late in a long run as you start to form, but doesn't have the ankle-rolling high stack of Hoka. It's a far tougher shoe than it looks and sufficiently protects toes and the side of feet against rock kicks. The range in how the shoe fits accommodate foot swelling over time-cinch everything tight to start, then gradually loosen as feet may swell after 50-80 miles. The Ultra 3 is purpose-built for long distances, and it excels at that beyond any other shoe I've used. I also trail run in other Salomon shoes, Inov-8, Hoka, and Nike for various applications/distances/terrain. Great tread, and low profile shoe.Ĭomments: I 'm on my second pair of these, and the fifth pair in the Ultra line. Still trying to get used to the lacing system, but I like how they feel after a couple of longer trail runs. PLEASE change the outsole for the next version!Ĭomments: I bought these in a size 6.5 women's and they were huge, so I exchanged them for women 6 and they fit great. Shoes with Vibram Megagrip, both durability and wet traction aren't an issue.īoth Sense Pro and Sense Ride these weren't a problem. I would be hesitant to take them out in anything but a sunny day, but trail running isn't all that predictable. This is something I shouldn't have to do and becomes an issue of safety. But on damp or wet rocks I haven't found they grip particularly well and I've found myself trying to avoid wet rocks, especially running downhill. Two runs should not have lugs starting to wear down. I would be shocked if these make it nearly that far. I used the Sense Pro 3 and even after 200 miles the lugs were solid. I would say 1/2 larger than other Salomon.īut after 15 miles can already see wear on the outsole lugs, which for a Salomon shoe is unheard of. I haven't had any issues with the ankle collar and have really liked not having to worry about debris. They might feel a little snug out of the box, but after a few miles that wasn't an issue. I have a wider than average foot and they open up well and I haven't had any issues. Loving this shoe running through White Mtns in NH. Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to choose Off. Switch to a turret where you can get a good view of an enemy turret. When you start a space battle, go to the turret stations and get in one. Use the following trick to destroy turrets easily. There should be a giant lightning-filled tube. Enter the door, then run down the passage. Shields: Run into the interior and move past the auto turret controls. Enter it and you will see a giant blue screen ahead. Life support system: Enter the ship's interior and to the left should be a door. Go through the door and destroy the four giant glowing tubes with three bombs. Use two pilot bombs to destroy it.Įngines: Enter the interior, then turn to the right. This following is a list of the battle ship's weak points:Īuto turrets: Enter the ship's interior and you will see a cylinder shaped console with different monitors. When you die, the transport acts as a command post for your team so you can go into the enemy ship much faster than taking another fighter from your hanger. When no one is in it, it will stay there for the rest of the battle. Land and make sure no one is in it or they will destroy it. While in a space battle, take a transport to the enemy's space cruiser for sabotage. After that is done, get a bomber and take out the remaining places on the outside. If you go into their rooms (for example, the engine rooms) and set your bomb there, it will explode the same with the shield generator and in the other rooms (even the tube that in the center of all the turret command places). Note: Sometimes you may have to use two ships. It will then act as a command post so you can start in the enemy ship. Get a troop transport and land it in the enemy hanger. When you have a space battle, the enemies ships will be easy to destroy. If they are fired too early, you will not do any damage to your target.ĭuring Galactic Conquest, buy the bonus Sabotage. The missiles on the Y-Wings and Tie Bombers do not have the range to get to your target and they drop off before they get there. Also, do not use your missile until you are close to the structures. This is the secondary evasive maneuver, which will flip your ship around automatically. Instead of holding back on the Analog-stick to flip your ship around after strafing a structure, press Circle(2) then press the Analog-stick to either side. This maneuver will allow you to make several runs, unloading on the target and avoiding as much enemy fighters as possible. Line up with the target and do a half roll. Continue pulling back until you see the target. When the targeting arrow goes from the front of the screen to the back of the screen, decrease all engine power. After passing the target, pull up with full thrusters. Make a preliminary strafing run straight along the ship. Additionally, lock on to a structure such as the life support system or bridge. Also, most enemy ship have an objective to destroy inside them. All of the enemies will be lightly armed because they are pilots. Take a fast ship and fly directly into the docks (it has a blue film over it), land, and get out. Repeat this as many times as desired.įirst, make sure the enemies' shields are down, then select a soldier with a blaster rifle. You can cause it to explode if in the air, getting points in the process. Sneak aboard the Rebel capital ship and wait by the Y-Wing until someone gets in it. Use your grenades to soften her up, then your rifle to finish her off. She should be around where you started the level. Use a regular Stormtrooper to take care of Leia. Use Darth Vader after you have captured it. This may take a few attempts, but it will work. Get to the CP and keep dodging bullets and firing while standing near the CP until it is turned to your faction. At the start, once the door explodes and opens, use your thermal detonators. In the mission on Tantive IV (blockade runner), the first and last objective are very difficult.
The intensity soars whenever he and Chef Kwon are in the same room together and it’s absolutely wonderful! Small accomplishments leads to big success, evident here in “ The Girl Who Sees Smells.” I lost count of the number of times I verbally cheered for Moo Gak and his boldness in trapping and cornering Chef Kwon like a game of cat and mouse. That’s how helpful the ability to see scents are, after all! The Sense of Success Plus, the chances of Yeom Mi getting rescued is significantly greater when compared to a situation in which Cho Rim becomes the victim. Lieutenant Yeom gravely risking her own life for Cho Rim is respectable, especially because it’s a known fact that she could have handled it better anyway. The concern they share for one another is touching and I adore how well they seem to get along together – once they got over their initial difficulties regarding Cho Rim’s real identity, that is. It took me a bit of time to warm up to Lieutenant Yeom, but her close, yet sudden, friendship with Cho Rim is an aspect I really like. The Sense of DespairĪlthough I rolled my eyes at how convenient it was for the weather to go from hot and sunny to a straight downpour, it still didn’t make Cho Rim’s despair any less moving. Although she was scared and nervous, she never allowed Chef Kwon to be aware of that fact and took away any sense of satisfaction that he would have otherwise felt. She kicked butt, metaphorically speaking, by remaining rather level-headed, calm, and collected for the duration of her six day capture – even as her time slowly ticked down to zero. Not only did she shock him when she revealed that he had kidnapped the wrong woman, Lieutenant Yeom also made him lose his composure, pointed out the flaws in his murdering logic, and, well, pissed him off by pitying him. How many viewers loved Lieutenant Yeom more than they did before after this week? I, personally, adored her ability to completely unsettle Chef Kwon by profiling him to a T. With the combination of these two facts, we have the Barcode Murderer, who takes joy in seeing his victim’s lives instead of their faces. We now know that Kwon Jae Hee was abused as a child and has an unquenchable urge to kill. It all adds up and we have Lieutenant Yeom to thank for piecing it all together. I remember feeling cheating back in episodes 7 and 8 when it was revealed that Chef Kwon had Prosopagnosia, but now, it actually makes sense. It hit me so hard, I’ve re-watched it a good handful of times and it still brings me to tears! The Sense of Clarity This is, precisely, the flawless performance I was talking about – the ability to tug on my heartstrings and had me mad grabbing the tissues in a mere three minute scene. Seeing both of them at a loss in how to proceed in rescuing Lieutenant Yeom ( Yoon Jin Seo), followed by the confession of guilt each carried for the other while still loving each other so deeply was a straight, hard punch to the gut. The Sense of Truthsįrom Oh Cho Rim ( Shin Se Kyung) revealing her scent seeing abilities to the Barcode Team to the details behind Kwon Jae Hee’s ( Namgoong Min) method of killing his victims, there were discoveries and confessions aplenty, but none tore at my heart quite as much as the beautifully raw moment between Choi Moo Gak ( Park Yoochun) and Cho Rim in the parking deck. It was these two episodes that restored a bit of the faith I had lost last week for a decent ending, so I’ll definitely be holding my breath and hoping for a great conclusion next week. This is the moment – the final stretch to the finale – where skills, talent, and experience is of utmost importance and everyone pulled it off so well. Even though the surprise factors were expected and the twists were obvious, it didn’t make it any less satisfying or intense to watch it all play out. After last week’s head scratching mess of glaring plot holes, “ The Girl Who Sees Smells“ redeems itself with two great episodes in 13 and 14.
The corporation is also listed on NASDAQ. Fortune 500 ranks United States corporations based on their total revenue. Costco comes at number 15 on the rankings of the Fortune 500. Nevertheless, Costco’s history goes back to 1976, and through mergers, it has become Costco Wholesale Corporation. Also, it does not seek to get the reader the best store between the two.Ī, Inc., is an international conglomerate that does business as Amazon. The post does not intend to make you change your favorite store. However, your shopping or the choice of the store is solely dependent on you. This post will help you compare them by giving you the notable differences. However, you can try to dissect the two and make a choice between them. Choosing between going for Amazon Prime and Costco’s membership clubs can be a hard one. If you have been caught up in the confusion, you are not alone. Based on their different operating models, it would play harder for someone who does not have either of them as their choice of shopping, but they are the only options. The two are among the largest stores worldwide each with controlled markets respectively. That would be the case for someone who is torn between shopping with Amazon and Costco. Now, it is even extra overwhelming if you have to choose between two competing stores but either has more options, or the other offers more interesting selections. It gets even more challenging if you do not have a favorite one and are used to shopping wherever you are at a given time. Choosing a store that you can stick to can be overwhelming most of the times. I actually enjoyed going here during my unlimited month. But, like I said, those were only two out of the several times I went to this studio. Like, lady, I am giving you my 100%, I promise please don’t adjust me any further because I physically cannot contort my body like that yet. I actually had to shrug her off at one point, but she didn’t take the hint. The other instructor was so annoying! She kept telling us to push deeper and deeper into our poses (when it was clear that most of us were going about as far into the poses as we could go) and would try to «correct» us by physically adjusting our bodies, at least for me, to the point of pain. She also made the room excessively hot and kept commenting on how she was surprised by how we weren’t pushing ourselves enough, or something like that, when it was clear that we were all fatigued from the sweltering heat and humidity of the room that day. One of them taught a weekend class I think she had a very abrasive way of teaching where she would make kind of snarky, not-quite-critical criticisms of people’s poses and attempts. There were two female instructors who rubbed me the wrong way. However, I wasn’t able to make too many of his classes because of its time. You know an instructor is amazing when the ninety minutes fly by and you feel calm and rejuvinated, not just plain exhausted (which is difficult to do when you’re sweating and contorting into pretzels for an hour and a half!). The teachers, for the most part, are pretty good. Luckily for me, BYC was doing a Groupon special for a month unlimited. I went here because I was home for the summer and was looking for a cheaper alternative to Charm City Yoga to continue my practice. Project Tasca: Enabling Touch and Contextual Interactions with a Pocket-based Textile Sensor We built three demo applications to highlight the effectiveness of our approach when combined with a simple IMU-based 2D tracking system. Notably, ElectroRing requires no second point of instrumentation, but only the ring itself, which sets it apart from existing electrical touch detection methods. ElectroRing’s active electrical sensing approach provides a step-function-like change in the raw signal, for both touch and release events, which can be easily detected using only basic signal processing techniques. ElectroRing addresses a common problem in ubiquitous touch interfaces, where subtle touch gestures with little movement or force are not detected by a wearable camera or IMU. We present ElectroRing, a wearable ring-based input device that reliably detects both onset and release of a subtle finger pinch, and more generally, contact of the fingertip with the user’s skin. ElectroRing: Subtle Pinch and Touch Detection with a Ring The results of our user studies validate the feasibility of PanoTrack and demonstrate that Auth+Track not only improves the authentication efficiency but also enhances user experiences with better usability. Based on the captured video stream, we develop an algorithm to extract 1) features for user tracking, including body keypoints and their temporal and spatial association, near field hand status, and 2) features for user identity assignment. We install a fisheye camera on the top of the phone to achieve a panoramic vision that can capture both user’s body and on-screen hands. To instantiate the Auth+Track model, we present PanoTrack, a prototype that integrates body and near field hand information for user tracking. By sparse authentication and continuous tracking of the user’s status, Auth+Track eliminates the “gap” authentication between fragmented sessions and enables “Authentication Free when User is Around”. We propose Auth+Track, a novel authentication model that aims to reduce redundant authentication in everyday smartphone usage. Auth+Track: Enabling Authentication Free Interaction on Smartphone by Continuous User Tracking We then test this model with LipType and other speech and silent speech recognizers to demonstrate its effectiveness. We then develop an independent repair model that processes video input for poor lighting conditions, when applicable, and corrects potential errors in output for increased accuracy. To address these, first, we develop LipType, an optimized version of LipNet for improved speed and accuracy. Developing new recognizers and acquiring new datasets is impractical for many since it requires enormous amount of time, effort, and other resources. Lip reading can mitigate many of these challenges but the existing silent speech recognizers for lip reading are error prone. Speech recognition is unreliable in noisy places, compromises privacy and security when around strangers, and inaccessible to people with speech disorders. |
